William R. Wayland rejoined McKoon & Williams in private practice in 2006 after serving as in-house counsel to a national mortgage bank.   He has spent a great deal of his thirty years of practice serving as in-house or general corporate counsel to a number of large corporate clients including a municipal hospital authority, a multi-state hospital management company and, most recently, a prestigious medical practice group. 

He is well versed in government contracting issues such as the public bidding process and RFP procedures.  In addition to the day-to-day counsel offered to his corporate clients, he regularly attends Board of Director meetings and has assisted his clients in the leasing and acquisition of real property, drafting and negotiating professional employment and separation agreements, and intellectual property matters. 

He has served as a representative and advocate in numerous regulatory and administrative proceedings.
